Some Nissans put that relay and 3 others above or on the fuse panel under the dash. Far left one was the Accessory relay, then the Ignition relay, next was the ECCS relay (the ecu relay), and last on the right was the fuel pump relay, if I recall correctly. I'm pretty sure everyone was exact same relay, same part number. I also believe the fuel pump fuse was in that fuse panel.
Just looked at a pulsar wiring diagram. There is a 10 amp fuse, a red fuse, in the fuse panel there for the fuel pump. Along with the FP relay. You have a voltmeter or test light? The fuse would have voltage when the key is in on or start. And then on the fuel pump relay, if you pulled it out, 2 of the four terminals that the relay plugs in at would/should have voltage. one hot terminal from the ignition switch on wire, and another hot terminal from the 10 amp fuse in the fuse panel. that may help you trace the power, first the fuse, then go at the relay. also of note, the relays under the hood, about 3 or 4 of them are the exact same relay, just check part numbers on them...easy to swap one for your suspect relay...Just looked at a pulsar wiring diagram. The relay for the fuel pump is located in the fuse box in the dash, by memory I think that it is the one on the far one on the left.i think there is three relays there.some times you can give them a bit of a tap one something hard and they work for a while.good luck. The relay for the fuel pump is located in the fuse box in the dash, by memory I think that it is the one on the far one on the left.i think there is three relays there.some times you can give them a bit of a tap one something hard and they work for a while.good luck.
