I have a 1991 Cadillac Sedan Deville I have no power to my excite wire on my starter my security light turns off when I turn it to the exhilarate positionI just installed a BCM but my car still will not start what do I check next all my fuses are good and relate seem to be working

Sounds like the chip in the key or the lock cylinder,do you have another ign. key you could try?
I tested the key it read1132 so im going to get a resitor and see if that fixes it
