I have a 1992 acura legend the car starts good but once you shift the gears it starts making a loud rattling noise and the front wheels will not move what could be the problem?
This could be the axle, or differential in the transmission. It cold be the planetary gears in the transmission. Check the axles first. I have seen the come out of the transmission. Usually a lot of transmission fluid on the ground.
I would say you either have an issue with the brakes or possibly the front axles. Maybe even the transmission. Would definitely suggest having it looked at by a competent mechanic.
