My Ford F-150 (1996 manual trans. 6 cyl. 2wd, 2 gas tanks) started sputtering out today on my way to work. It was fine for about 10 min of operation the felt like it wasnt getting gas. I then left it sit for 2 hours or so when my son went to tow it home. he got in it and started it and drove most of the way home just fine until about a block away he expierienced the same thing. When i got home from work the truck wouldnt even start until i switched to the other gas tank. it ran fine then. Is there 2 seperate fuel pumps on the tanks and the one just went bad? please help...
