I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and it just today started shaking pretty bad as soon as it was put in drive. I took it in and it read a fuel injector issue so i bought cleaner. When its in park its fine, steady idle and all, but when put in drive the engine itself shakes. Could injectors be at fault for all this??
Its possible the miss is still there in park but not as noticeable. The problem is worse in drive because of the load on the engine. It could be one injector that has worn out, the magnet that opens the injector valve can get weak. It could be gummed up and the cleaner may help, but you may have to replace one of the injectors at the end.
