I have a 2001 buel blast and i need to know if it has a oil saftey cut off when the oil gets low
I checked the oil in my beul before i left for a 170 mile trip home it was low but within acceptable limits i got 50 miles from home going 70 on the interstate and the bike cut off and wouldnt restart i went through and checked everything and when i got to the oil it was empty there was no oil anywhere on the crank case or road

There is no oil cutoff, if the oil is really low (and it needs to be really low), you will get the oil light on your dash.
The Blast does tend to burn oil, and if you are riding at highway speeds it will end up puking some oil into the crank breather tubes.
