I have a 2001 ford F250, I replaced the stock stereo with a Boss bv8965b. It works great til I turn on the exterior driving lights then the screen goes blue like the aux screen but it has the code (Car-). the stereo and DVD player will not funtion if the lights are on. Any answers??

Yes, you wire the head unit wrong, there is ground, batt12v constant(usually yellow) Constant because you radio memory, Accessory wire when the key is on(that way your radio turns on and off with the keys, and last but not least you ILLUMINATION WIRE witch when you turn your headlights gives you curren 12v...
