I have a 2001 Oldsmobile silohoutte when I start it up the fuel gauge will read full other times it will be on E and say low fuel. Also it will stay on full and not move or Empty what's the problem?

Could be the sending unit inside the fuel tank or the little step motor that controls the gauge ! Your best bet would be to take it an have it diagnosed so you do guess an buy unneeded parts ! Or there may be a video on you tube on how to test !
