I have a 2002 chrysler sebring 2.7l what I was wondering has any one had a problem with the seal on the timing case cover when I installed this one it seemed fine but when I was putting on the cover
The seal came out of the cover and I knocked it in with a hammer I have never seen one come out like this when you knock them in they stay. Has any one had this same problem. New cover?

I have had problems with rubber seals staying in the grooves before. When it happens, I seal them in place with silicone. Let them sit for awhile so the silicone sets up.
