Report "I have a 2002 Kawaisaki 750 Vulcan with about 18,000 miles. It has always started but sometimes you would have to jiggle the start key to get it to start.\r\n It wouldn't start Friday, which would usually mean a dead battery, but I keep my battery charged with a Battery tender. Took the battery in and they gave me a new because it was a little weak and still was under warranty. It still won't start, won't do anything, as if the battery were dead but the battery is brand new, I checked all of the fuses, all good, I took all of the connections I could get my hands on and made sure they were connected. Then got the original Kawaski key, sprayed a squirt electonic contact cleaner into the key hole, and jiggled the original key. I got just a little tiny bit of current, just enough to make the oil light come on, weakly, and the fuel guage moved up a little, that was it. I put the battery back on the charger, and it had lost a little bit of charge but was topped up in less than 30 minutes. Any ideas about what would be the problem?"
