I have a 2003 Dodge Dakota. The water pump just went and i replaced it. After replacing I filled the radiator with antifreeze and started the truck. As it warmed up the level did not drop in the radiator and the heater would not blow hot air. The temp guage rose to the point of almost overheating. I am assuming there is air trapped in the cooling system. How do i bleed it? Is there a bleeder screw? And if this does not work what else could it be? Thanks

I would change the thermostate and before installing the new one i would fill the block up with antifreeze then install the new one then fill radiator up let run with cap off till you bleed the air out
