I HAVE A 2003 KIA SERENTO IT HAS AUTO AND LOW RANGE. IT WILL NOT GO INTO LOW RANGE. THE MANUAL SAYS GO TO DEALER. THAT IS VERY COSTLY AND IS 70 MILES AWAY. SHOULD BE SOMTHING SIMPLE BECAUSE ALL WHEEL DRIVE DOES WORK. JUST WONT GO INTO LOW RANGE

What do you need low range for? I've never used the low. You can't go over 25 mph in low. I would just save yourself the time and money, and use 4 high.

You need to make sure all your tires are perfectly matched. Even if they say the same size but are different manufacturers they can be different sizes. Even a slight difference can cause incredible driveline biand and make the vehicle stick in 4WD, either high, or especially low. DONT drive it like that, tow it in and let the to company know it is stuck in 4WD, they will have to flat-bed it.
