I have a 2004 buick redevous that keeps misfireing on the 3 cylinder

The service engine light came on also i just had a tune up and the fuel filter change. it has been at firestone twice today they suggest taken it to the dealership what can it be.

The service engine light means a error has been detected. The code is P0303 if it is misfire in cylinder 3. I find it odd that Firestone just did a tune up and now you have a misfire code and they are trying to send you somewhere else.

The misfire in one cylinder only starts with a check of the plug, wire, coil/distributor. then a check of the injectors and if needed a compression test and possibly a leak down test. So you see, some of the things performed during the tune up could be part of the problem. I would suggest talking to the owner of Firestone before going to pay out of pocket for something that may be due to technician error or faulty parts.
