I have a 2004 buick rendesvous. It will not turn off. even with the battery disconnected it will not turn off until I short the alternator to ground. The unit is Jan2005 VER 1.25. I would like to know how to disable the system and get back to OEM

Remove the fuses fromt the remote module (usually under dash. Also you can chase each connection back to the splice and remove the wires at the connections. Be sure to disconnect batt. before doing so.
