If this "clunking? noise is consistent, try to isolate its location by having an assistant slowly perform a few start...stops while you walk beside the vehicle.
If you can track down the general area.... perform a careful inspection looking for loose or damaged components.
It may just be a brake caliper or it could be a broken exhaust hanger or any number of different things...you really need to do an inspection to track it down.
Not %100 sure, but it sounds like a loose brake caliper, or if equipped with rear drum brakes, it could be one or more of the many components involved with holding the brake shoes in place, and one more possibility of being a broken brake pad or shoe. Can you tell where it's coming form? The front, rear or possibly the center which would point more towards drive train issues....
It's coming from rear-end it clunks when I release breaks and feels like rear-end drops only does it if I stop fast but if I stop at slower speed it doesn't do it all depends how hard I press breaksIt's coming from rear-end it clunks when I release breaks and feels like rear-end drops only does it if I stop fast but if I stop at slower speed it doesn't do it all depends how hard I press breaks
