I have a 2004 Vauxhall Corsa C 1.4 SRi with Dull Headlights
I have a 2004 Vauxhall Corsa C 1.4 SRi Twinport. The headlights look ok to the eye (bright) but when driving in the dark they may as well not even be on! I have now replaced the bulbs with 90% brghter Xenon bulbs (at a cost of £50 from Halfords!!) and they are even worse! I have no idea why I can only see about 3 feet ahead of the car with headlights on - Is it the cover/dome over the headlight bulb causing problems? I clean the outer plastic protective case daily. Have i used the wrong bulbs?

If they are projector type it sounds like u havnt got the bulb in,in the right place,if you take the dust cover off the back+look at back of the headlight using a torch u will see wot i mean, they have to be in spot on,or you get no beam from them.
I have the same problem with my 54 plate corsa c i think its because the got the projector headlamps in and there is dust on the lens inside the headlamp,
i hav also tried puttin extra bright bulbs n and it makes it worse i cant see a thing
best bulbs i have found is genuine vauxhall or saab gm h7 bulbs
there normally about £8
