I have a 2005 Mazda Tribute and the ABS control module was not working. I found a used one, however it was for a Ford Escape, same part number and had it installed by a mechanic and for some reason he cannot get it to relearn. Do I need to get another one for a Mazda, even though it's the same part?

Thanks Gerry, I do understand that they are the exact same vehicle and that's why I don't understand why it won't reset the code. Mechanic said the new control module is working. Just not resetting the code so the light is still on.
