I have a 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse with the Infinity high end stock radio installed, which has a 200 watt amp under the seats. The head unit does does not have direct speaker outputs. The head is connected to the amp, from which the speakers are then installed. I hooked up an Infinity Basslink II powered subwoofer, splicing into the speaker wires that are coming out of the factory amp from under the seat. My problem is the sub works fine for about 2 minutes, then shuts off. Power remains to the sub, but no sound comes out. I can turn the head unit off, then turn it back on and the sub will work again briefly, but shut off again right away. This is the second Basslink I've tried and have had the same problem with both, making me believe it has something to do with my car or the way I have it hooked up. Any help would be appreciated as I've been unable to find the appropriate resolution online
