I have a 2006 Freestyle. I noticed that in the past 3 years, that there is a little water inside the right rear tail light lens in the back up section. I have run all kinds of test to see if there is a crack or bad seal, but all test show no leaks. But the big problem is that there is water leaking inside the right rear side where the spare wheel is located. The carpet and under lament are damp whenever it rains. I can not figure out where it is coming from. This car has never been in any accidents. Does anyone have any ideas? Also, how difficult would it be to remove all the inside paneling so I could remove the last row of seat to see if I can see where the water is coming in from. Would this be covered under warranty as we have only 41K miles on the car?

Check your rear door seals. Sometimes the get pinched when door is shut and water leaks through or under seal. Take it to a self serve car wash and pressure wash corner in question.
