I have a 2006 Yamati ATV that has no spark
This 90cc ATV with only a few hours on it and was running fine when parked so the previous owner told me. The battery was dead so I used a different battery and it ran for a few seconds and ran well. When I went to try it again it would not start and now I have no spark. I noticed that there was another post with a similar issues with no spark after a dead battery. I have checked all the lock-out/safety switches and even used a meter to check them. I have no manual and have done the fairly extensive trouble shooting with no result. Any help would be greatly appreciated this was suppose to be a birthday gift for my son.

Assuming this is an electric start, but either way,Make absolutely sure the battery posts, Especially the ground are clean and making good contact. Ck the ground cable on both ends.Make sure you have fresh fuel. Remove the plug(s) and clean the threads to assure the plug(s) have a good ground. This is critical because voltage passes easier than amps. Good luck and Happy birthday to your son.
