I have a 2007 Freestyle. The driver's seat heated seat does not work. You push the button -it lights up for a few seconds and then goes off.

I am having exactly the same problem (also with 2007 Freestyle). The light comes on for a short time, and then goes off.
My Wife's 2003 Windstar Ltd. has the same problem also . The seat heater light(s) come on and go off seconds later but no heat . Any one know what the cause is?
