I have a 2007 FX35. It is a wonderful car. However, after the last dealer maintenance, the belts were squealing. I took it back and they repaired them quickly. The next morning and every morning since the car hesitates when starting and for a few moments runs roughly. Then it settles out and as long as it is warm it runs fine. I have had it rechecked and of course they have found no problems. The car is always warm when they test it and they tell me this should not make a difference. I have done some online research and found others with similar experiences. Can you help me?
Hi, an engine hesitation is an interruption of continuous power during acceleration. When a engine is hesitating it will cause the car to lunge or surge during acceleration which will cause a sudden **** as the car slows down. A plugged air filter, clogged fuel filter and vacuum leak is a very common issue, while intake manifold and gasket is very common failure and 1st to check
The car should be examined before it warm up because in the case of a clogged fuel filter, once the car is warm, it will be difficult to know if it is clogged..The car should be examined before it warm up because in the case of a clogged fuel filter, once the car is warm, it will be difficult to know if it is clogged..
