I have a 2400 Onan generator factory installed in my class B rv (pleasureway) with 20 hours on it. I have had it recently tuned and the oil changed. It sputters when I try to start it but won't run. Please advise

Is the fuel valve on (switch in RUN position)?
The choke lever in the middle or more during start?
Check and clean the spark plug
