I have a 250K mimimx nt heater that has been inactive since last spring. I just tried turning it on and fan starts and then heater clicks on for a few seconds and then shuts off. This happens a few more times then the heater shuts off and displays the e04 error code. Any ideas on the problem

This is a fan code. If your fan is running then the air pressure switch has a problem. On some units the gas pressure switch is on the same circut. This would be the NT LN model. On this one gheck to be sure your gas is on and bled out first. If this is a LP heater be sure you have enough gas to run it. Most heaters need at least 30% on the tank to get enough pressure to run the heater. If it is the air pressure than you need to check your air flow. Be sure to check you don't have bird or rat nests in your exaust or on the burner tray assembly. If you don't have any of these problems you may need a new air sensor. I hope I have helped.
