I have a 5 year old Pronto M51. When I plug the charger into the wall both a sold green and red light comes on. But when I unplug the charger and try to operate the chair it will only move a few inches and stops. When I turn the switch on the 3 lights on the joystick gauge all light up and they stay on. Could it be by batteries?

Yep you got it right its the batteries replace them with U1 batteries, charge before use and you should be good to go Good Luck
