I HAVE A 5MFD OVAL CAPACITOR WITH 2 PINS CONNECTOR AND MY OLD ONE HAS 3 YELLOW GOES TO ONE OF THE PINS RED AND PURPLE GOES TO ANOTHER PIN AND THE BROWN GOES TO ANOTHER PIN THIS IS FOR THE OLD CAPACITOR BUT THE NEW ON E ONLY HAS 2 PINS SO HOW DO I CONNECT THIS 2 PIN CAPACITOR

You need to replace it with a matching 3 pole capacitor. Look at the rating on your old capacitor, on a 3 pole it should read (ie): 5/35 mfd. This is a split type capacitor and usually controls 2 motors. There are a wide varety of capacitors. Also, one of the terminals will be a common terminal, so be sure to put it back together correctly.
