Heating & Cooling - Danby - DPAC120068 Air Conditioner
This model is designed to heat the condensed water and send it out the exhaust duct as vapour. It prevents accumulation on less humid days. It sounds like it's served you well for seven years.
However, I do recommend one step for owners of the DPAC series. At the end of the season, drain the internal tank by opening the two taps at the bottom rear. Put a pan beneath them . The internal tank only holds one cup of water.
