I have a 93 imperial. The headlights turn on-whether automatically or by using the switch-but the headlight covers won't go up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Check vac lines they maybe cracked or broken
It has nothing to do with vac lines. The headlight doors operate via electric motor. You have a bad relay or a fuse somewhere. I'm having a similar problem and my research is telling me that it has something to do with the body control module.
