I have a 96 Lincoln continental and there is one major issue with the car. The air suspension stopped working but not only that the driver door ajar is on also and,I have read on other forums that if the doors are not closed properly the air suspension will not raise to proper hight. Is there anything someone can do to help me out. Any answer that can get me somewhere on the right track would be great. Thanks, Sergio

The door problem could be a faulty switch/sensor inside the door latch. If the suspension warning light is on there is a problem with that system too. The system should maintain standard height even with the door open in most cases. It may not increase height if you load the car and the door is not closed.
Thanks for the input. I will try to work with the sensors first to see if it just possibly a sensor that isn't working. Winter is going to be coming soon and that car probably won't make it another winter with suspension jacked up.Thanks for the input. As a last resort, you can also have regular struts installed to replace the air ride system. As a last resort, you can also have regular struts installed to replace the air ride system.
