I have a 97 tahoe 5.7 4wd i am getting no park at all i have replaced, ccrankshaft sensor , cam sensor, All new sparkplugs ac delco, ignition module ,ignition coil, and entire didistributor. Stil yet not spark. Ive put a meter to all plugs and connectors and have good readings. All fuse's are good this is driving me nuts its getting fule with good fuel pressure. It wants to start but it just cranks and cranks. What am i missing herw ?
You said won'ts or tries to start. Does it do it when you let off the key? I have seen a few that cranking has no spark, but when you let off the key it would give a brief spark. Not enough the start the engine. Replace the ignition switch.
You have replaced most everything. But there are 4 things that could be bad. First check the fuse again, pull them out this time. Just the ignition and PCM fuse. (sending a picture) Doing this get rid of any corrosion possibilities. Next would be checking ground wires. Ohm them out, anything above 5 ohms , needs replaced. Next is testing the wires for power to the PCM and coil and ignition module. Since you replaced everything. Pull the plugs off the PCM, check them for corrosion.(battery post cleaner works good on cleaning them, spray the plug and the PCM pins). If this doesn't work, then go for the PCM. I take the PCM's apart, corrosion can get in them also. I have fixed a lot of them with brake clean and a soft/toothbrush.You have replaced most everything. But there are 4 things that could be bad. You didn't mention the cap and rotor. Are you getting battery voltage to the coil in the on and crank position? Are you getting a tach signal to the tachometer ? Could be a problem with the engine computer among other things.
Thanks alot of the advise is anything youve suggested. Worked ill let you know thanks alotThanks alot of the advise is anything youve suggested. Worked ill let you know thanks alot

Here's the picture. It is a 96 chevy 5.7. Should work for yours.
