Its not the problem of power supply board .as the sound is coming.the power supply is not faulty, only something is faulty in power supply board.some of the capacitors would be bulged up or may be slowly bursted in the power supply board .just get it changed by some technician .and also get it checked if any of the tracks on the circuit board is short ,if it is short .just get the tracks completed by the engineer.it will not be too costly.under $150.your power supply is perfect just the capacitor which supports the picture is blown.rate the solution.thanks.
I can see PT5492it is a projection tv, in this case the most likely is that the lamp inside is gone , you will need to replace it by accessing the back of your tv. There is also a ballast that supplies voltage to the lamp if it has become defective it cause same effect. If you do it carefully this is an operation that the user can do. You can buy the lamp here

Sounds like your ballast need to be replaced, did you get sparks at the back of your tv?
