I have a audiobahn a4002t. it will not power off when the key is off and removed. i have even tried disconnecting the remote wire and this does not help. i have tested the radio for functionality of the blue remote wire by borrowing a friend's amp and installing it. my friend's amp installed does power off. any ideas what could be wrong with my a4002t?

More than likely the amps internal relay that is powered by the remote lead has shorted open, allowing the amp to connect power and ground regardless of the remote signal.
Should be a relatively inexpensive fix at an electronics repair shop.
