I have a b1700 that won't start, it wants to, but does not run. What should I be looking for
I tries to start, glow plugs are working, fuel at the injectors,smoke pours from the exhaust pipe, but won't fire. I have changed the fuel, filters bled the system. Sounds like it will run, but won't.

Possible low compression, could be due to a timing issue.
Check compression in each cylinder.
