I have a Bernina 1120, It is pretty old. The problem I am having is that the needle will not go all the way down. The needle does move a little bit though. Trying to figure out if ica fix this myself and if so how so should I get it serviced?

If the hand wheel is free to rotate towards you, the needle stop in the needle shaft may be missing allowing the needle to go up too far,
