I have a bernina 1130, the motor runs slow then stops after 2-3 seconds. Letting off foot pedal and pressing again does the same. Is there an eye causing it to shut down?

Motor may need new brushes. If it has not been cleaned in a while, oil may have hardened causing excessive resistance.
