Report "I have a Black & Decker JKC905 Cordless electric kettle. This morning the lid is stuck in the shut position. The release button depresses , but the lid will not open. How do I remove the coverplate on the handle to access the mechanism to repair ? I have removed the 2 screws at the base of the handle but do not want to force anything and break it"
