I have a brand new timer 046878578746 strange thins are happening i was doing manual control clear does not stop watering when i open the main ball valve not the two inline valves for the two zones water starts flowing as if the timer was not there actually the timer seems to be redundant please help thank you

Sounds like you have set both and and b times. unplug from wall then remove battery, wait about 2-3 minutes then plug back in and reprogram, then install battery.
