I have a Briggs engine 121602-0269-E1 and had to remove the head. Should I install a new head gasket and what in reinstall torque setting?

Always replace head gasket if removed. torque value is 28.2 NM or 250lb/in the head should be torqued in 3 settings. do 1/3 then 2/3 and then final 1/3
