Report "I have a c500us hp presario that the owner had a short at the end of the power supply he tried to fix and it shorted out badly i have it now and bought a new power supply , i then charged the battery in my other laptop that uses the same battery models the computer turns corectly with the charged battery and when on it says that i is charging the battery on the taskbar ,but i reality it isnt and the remaining count keeps dropping until the battery dies when trying to turn it on when the battery is dead all that happens is the power button blinks rapidy leading me to believe the owner flew some sort of fuse ,but i have taken the board off and examined it pretty good ,but i dont see any fuses if anyone know where they are please let me know thanks tom"
