There is a sensor assembly at many junctions of copier where it senses the passing of paper.if at any junction the sensor is stuck up then it will detect as if the paper is jammed up. in that case the sensor should be releases and set free by servicing the printer so that the sensor cutter moves freely.just a normal servicing of device will solve the issue.its a very common problem.
