If you have the part, you need a soldering iron, solder wick and solder. Apply heat with the iron to the lugs on the input that protrude through the circuit board, and apply solder wick to desolder the bad part - do this for all the contacts. Remove the bad connector, place the new one and heat the lugs one at a time, once the iron has been on the lug for several seconds, apply the solder to the lug and hold for a second or two. When the solder melts and flows remove the iron and the solder. Allow it to cool - repeat for all the lugs. A good solder joint is shiny. A bad one is dull, and that is called a cold solder joint.
