I have a Craftsman 9hp 29inch blade snowblower that is basically brand new. It had sat for too long and the gas turned to varnish. I had to replace the fuel line and i rebuilt the carb and it still won't run. I know there is gas in there and i know it has spark. There is this little plug that comes out by the starter and i have no clue what its for or where it goes. I have half the engine apart and STILL cannot find where it goes. Help please!!!
Hi timmmarquez, I have the same snowblower. That plug is for a light if you want to install one. Can you smell gas when you try to start it ? If you have spark you can iliminate the kill switch. Make sure you have a clean spark plug to (not a weak spark). Good Luck.
