I have a Cub Cadet Hydrostatic Lawn Tractor - LT1042. Then I active the PTO today, the blades would not turn - although I did hear an attempt. Can you help me fix this?
Sounds like the clutch has a problem. unplug and plug the clutch to be sure it has a goo connection. if that isn't it. with it running and the pto on. see if you can wiggle the wires at the clutch where it plugs in all the way to the clutch itself. (this is not safe so watch where you put your hands, use a stick if you have to. but be careful). if it kicks on or it tries to engage you have a bad or broken wire. some times the break were the wires go into the clutch .
