Your Mower Most likely has a defective low oil shut down indicator..it normally has a small single wire attached to it located on the engine block somewhere near the middle..locate it and disconnect it..the light should go out if it does replace it or just tape the end of the wire and just make sure your old level is checked before using..hope this helps good luck..
