I have a Dayton furnace in my garage. It is well over 20 years old and it is a gas one. Long and narrow with blower on the top and burner on the bottom. Last year I had someone come to look at it because it would come on and work for awhile and then I would hear a click and the pilot lite would go out and it would shut off. The company I had here worked for two days and finally didn't come back anymore. Luck for me they didn't charge me anything. It does the same now. Once I am able to get the pilot light lite and it kicks on and runs for a few minutes then I hear a click and it kicks off. Pilot lite goes out and I have to start over. Use to be I could maybe if I was lucky I could get it to run, but now I can't do that. Runs for a few minutes and then it is off..Pilot lite shuts down. I don't have the manual for it, but it is a long narrow one like I said
