I have a dell inspiron E1505. The problem I'm having is when i go to turn on my laptop it turns on fine goes through the cycle and when it comes to chose which operation system to use it i can chose either one of them and they both gave me the same response my computer turns off and go through the whole thing again

If you do not know what button to press at boot in order to restart in safe mode, you will be able to find the manual at the link below. It will explain in detiail what you should do to start the machine in safe mode.
Once in safe mode, try a system restore, if this fails, i would suggest that you backup all the data you want to keep and reinstall windows.
This is a common problem when you have 2 operating systems installed. Some files get mixed up, which results in registry errors, hence the machine goes into a loop when you boot.
If you have a recovery partition set up, boot from it once you have backed up all the data you want to keep.
I you had a cd or dvd that came with the computer, reinstall windows from there.
Remember, if you run dual systems, install the older OS first.
