I have a delta 36-600 table saw that the clutch or drive has quit working . the motor was rebuilt about a year ago now the drive slips is there a simple or easy fix or adjustment to the clutch for this problem .the saw has been overloaded several times creatiing the failure. thanks for any help you can offer. In my Delta table saw the motor and blade turns but it can't cut even MDF, the blade stops as motor runs super strong. It seems to be a clutch problem but I am not sure other parts such as belt, gears or ... involved. I appreciate any help.
Indeed the problem was the belt. Now I need to order that from Delta. Does anyone knows the part number since I don't have the manual for it.
If you have a motor with the no.1313314 and the motor runs ,but the blade spindel does not turn try removing the backcover plate . With this removed you might find that the toothed gear belt has broken. If this ,in fact, is the problem the belt is a Bando syncro,link 100xl.
Hope this rectifies your problem as I am waiting for a new belt myself.
