I have a Devilbiss air compressor DF430-2. It builds pressure past the pressure relief 120 PSI. What could be the issue? is the pressure switch adjustable?
Yes it is adjustable. however if the diaphragm is defective it won't work. You can adjust it counterclockwise to lower pressure switch. Unplug the compressor first then back off three turns at a time. then check the switch. If you remove the gray cover off of the regulator it will have the directions on how to adjust it on the inside cover.
Ok let me know what you find you can buy a new reulator for $20.00 bucks at any hardware store.Ok let me know what you find you can buy a new reulator for $20.00 bucks at any hardware store.
