I have a dewalt cordless drill dcd776c3. Charger shows red light (on full - no flashing) yet the drill is not working - as if the battery is flat? I've tried the 2nd battery too - same result

What kind of batteries are they? If they are NiMh and haven't been used for a while, they can lose their charge and NOT be sble to be charged again!
Do you have a 3rd battery that does work? Buy a battery to make sure the charger is working or that the drill is working. If yes to both of these, then your old batteries are NFG.
