I have a Dimplex Column Oil heater with a fan that has stopped heating up. The power turns on but there is no heat. Would the fuse have blown? If so, how do I fix this? Thank you for you help
It is fixable from your home but unfortunately the parts for this particular heater are available only from the distributor. So getting a thermostat for this would be difficult unless your are a authorized service provider for Dimplex.
I can offer you a contact number for Dimplex where they can direct you to one of their service centers in your area since I don't know your area.
The company itself is based in Canada but they list an 800 number free of charge to call.
HI.The equipment is equipped with a thermostat that is capable of ensuring that heat will produce. There's no proble with the fuse and the motor. The problem is with the thermostat,it is no longer poducing heat to the system. So better check this auxillary device inside.Thank you for choosing FIXYA.
HI.This can be a DIY however in order for the issue to be taken care of properly.so you need to ask for a tch to install a new thermostat.Thank you for choosing FIXYA.HI.This can be a DIY however in order for the issue to be taken care of properly.so you need to ask for a tch to install a new thermostat.Thank you for choosing FIXYA.
